First of all here’s what I get for not trusting the HRRR.
HRRR was correct in showers moving in during rush hour.
Timing of Departure: A little unclear truthfully. NAM 4 doesnt even show these current showers making there way here for another few hours, thus throwing off the time. If we rely soley on the most recent HRRR run, then showers should be out of our area by mid-evening:

Breaks in the clouds will become more prevalent this evening, along with drier air. Temperatures stay comfortably in the low 70s through mid-evening.
Much like Thursday morning, conditions will start off calm and collected. No real weather concerns for Friday, except cloud cover will be noticeably increasing through the afternoon and evening ahead of another rain maker.

We have managed to stay clear of the rain so far. Storms are currently approaching from our southwest.

HRRR displays two lines of showers moving through our area:

Update: Based on the latest model runs this afternoon, a line of strong storms will be marching southeast this evening across Illinois and Kentucky before approaching the Tennessee state line.

Great evening ahead with above average temps.
Tuesday will start out much like today; clear skies, temps in the 80°, wind gusts up to 20 mph.
As the day progresses, chances of pop-up isolated showers and storms increase. Why? Increasing humidity and associated instability.

Expect nothing less than perfect this evening. Clear skies with temperatures remaining mild. Temps will fall back into the upper-to-mid 60s by 9PM.

High clouds have remained throughout the day and will continue to stick around into tonight.
Current Visible Satellite Imagery displays more clouds developing from our Northwest:
These clouds will continue to move into our area throughout the evening hours. Humidity will be fairly high, resulting in the possibility of low lying clouds and fog in the early AM hours.

Update: By 6PM, the “main rain” should be winding down from west to east. There’s a chance for more rain and isolated t-storms as we head into the nighttime hours, particularly early Friday morning. Regardless, keep the rain gear handy tonight.

Throughout the remainder of the afternoon, clouds will be forming ahead of the next rain system currently sitting west of the Mississippi River.
These showers and potential thunderstorms are moving at a very slow rate currently.
