So we had a shower drop by this afternoon, and we expect more tonight.

The HRRR expects a lot more rain as the front approaches:

Our NWS does too, another 0.37″.  Rain is more likely the closer you are to Chattanooga, where they should get soaked. The rain may not really get going until it’s SE of us, but don’t bet on that. Plan on rain tonight. read more

By midnight, winds will have relaxed below 10 MPH.

It was pretty wild last night — top “official” wind gust was 52 MPH.

Tuesday – Sunshine Thru Scattered Clouds – Early 43°, High 63°

Still pretty warm for December.

Wednesday – The Rain Returns. Waking Up: 45° High: 66°

A rain system will come streaking out of the Gulf, putting showers on our radar as the day wears on. read more
