Rain Returns Saturday PM; Above-Average Temps Continue

We’re about 20° colder than we were 24 hours ago – that’s thanks to a cold front that moved thru overnight that brought a little bit of rain with it.

We’ll experience a slow warming trend as we get into this weekend, although not as warm as the 77° we saw on Tuesday, but still comfortably above average. read more

Near Record High Temps Today; Rain Tonight + This Weekend

Today will be our last day of our two-day preview of Spring. High temps will easily make it into the low 70s – over 20° above average for this time of year. We’ll get fairly close to our daily record high of 76° set all the way back in 1932. read more

Preview of Spring Today and Tuesday; Several Rain Chances This Week

Today and Tuesday we’ll get a nice preview of Spring. High temperatures will be ~20° above average. Both days will be fantastic for any outdoor activities.

This preview will be fairly short-lived, as we return back to reality the rest of the week. However, we’ll still have slightly above average temperatures with highs in the mid 50s. read more

Showers This Afternoon; Above-Average Temps Around The Corner

We should get some fairly efficient melting of anything that is still hanging on. We’re on our way to highs in the low 50s, with some rain coming this afternoon.

Despite the scattered cloud cover today, we should see at least some melting with a couple hours of above freezing temperatures. Unfortunately, today might be the last day we see above freezing temps until Monday. read more

Low Chance of Light Snow Fri/Sat; Another Stretch of Below Freezing This Weekend

We finally got above freezing as we made it to 33° at BNA at the 3p observation. This, paired with sun has helped the melting process some. Additional melting will happen on Thursday, as most of us get into the upper 30s. read more

Our ongoing Cold Weather Advisory will switch to an Extreme Cold Warning today starting at 6p, running thru noon on Tuesday. Our low temperatures tonight will get close to 0°, with wind chill values as low as -11°. read more
