Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Rain Leaving – 9 PM 57°

Rain from this afternoon may linger around into the early evening hours. Any remaining rain should be fairly light and shouldn’t impact any outdoor plans you may have.

Most of our rain and cloudiness has been brought in today from a low pressure currently spinning over our area. This low is depicted very well on our current satellite imagery: read more

You Guys! I Mean Y’all! Fall!

Fall Weather Arrives Monday

A cold front will arrive mid-day Monday, bringing clouds and a little rain.

By 9 AM, the rain will be in west TN.

It’ll be packing our first real taste of fall weather.

Expect the rain here around/shortly after lunch, with the cooler, drier air filtering in behind it. Maybe a few lightning strikes are possible, but meh. Expect a little rain, probably not enough to rain you out. read more

Sunday

One more day of summer weather.

Same as it was yesterday. Hot. Some humidity, but not oppressive humidity.

No models show rain, which makes meteorological sense because high pressure is in charge, pushing away any rain chances. That high pressure will be out of here tomorrow. read more

Little More HOT, Lots Cooler Next Week

Current Radar

Tonight: Warm, Mostly Clear Skies – 80º by 8PM

Not too bad for a September night. Again, much like last night, where it’s probably not bonfire material yet. Temps will fall through the 70s after dark sets in.

Sunday: Need More Vitamin D? Sunny Again! – Early 66° High 92°

Certainly not very good for the vampires out there. Temperatures during the afternoon will reach the lower 90s again, and we will introduce a slight uptick in humidity levels. This may push the “feels like” temperature into the middle and upper 90s, but either way, it’ll be plain hot. read more
