Foreseeable future afternoon highs are now stuck in the low/mid 90°s.

Up to 97° today but dewps in the upper 50’s will make it feel not-so-bad, but still hot. No rain today to put the high temp in jeopardy.

Saturday and Sunday temps will be 96-97 and dewpoints will get buffed into the mid-upper 60’s, so the heat index goes back into the 100-104 range. read more

BNA last hit 100° July 8, 2012. We might hit 100° this afternoon. For several days forecasters have gone back and forth between 99° and 100° for the high. The latest data supports 99°, but 100° will be in reach. If we make it to 100° we would only tie the June 22 record set in 1988. read more
