Showers and storms are in the area and more continue to build to our north. We’ll have to watch those as they sink southward, keeping evening plans in mind. It’ll be safer than not to have an umbrella on hand if you plan to be outside.

Any showers that develop this afternoon are expected to exit by the early evening hours. Partly cloudy skies to follow tonight. Should be a fairly quiet night once the rain leaves.
Mother Nature ramps those temps back up to end our week. Temps will reach into the mid 90s with those dew point temps in the low 70s. Very hot day expected and it will likely feel flat out gross outside.

Showers and thunderstorms have developed this afternoon and they will push southeast through the evening. The storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and low-end gusty winds.

Still have a few scattered showers around the area, but the majority of the rain ended up pushing to our west.

Update: Showers and thunderstorms, some severe, are racing our direction this evening. Damaging winds will be the main threat, in addition to marginally-sized hail. Follow @NashSevereWx on Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates.

Main line of showers has moved through and continued to move to the East. Have had some showers develop to our south, bu they appear to all be tracking away from our area, which is good news for those evening plans.

Showers and storms have already developed and will continue through the remainder of the afternoon into the evening hours. Lots of energy currently in our atmosphere which could help produce a few strong thunderstorms (wind and hail are the main concerns).

Rain chances tonight will greatly depend on when/if we see showers in the afternoon. If this squall line stays intact, we could see some early evening hour activity. If it does not, then we could see a few pop up afternoon showers that should dissipate as we head into the evening hours.

Expecting for mostly clear skies through the overnight hours. Still have a small chance of some pop-up showers developing, but since they haven’t so far, our chances have diminished.
