Seasonal day expected on Thursday with sunny skies to start and temps warming into the 90s. Have a decent chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day.

Model guidance on a “when” is on the struggle bus this morning, but a good time frame given the season would be most of these showers would probably develop in the afternoonish time frame. Hopefully later today the models may help us out a bit more with that.

My Forecast - Google Chrome 2016-08-03 06.45.23

Friday looks to be a bit drier with only a slight chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

A very rare summertime cold front will be making its’ way towards us on Saturday. This will likely bring showers and thunderstorms, with some of them possibly becoming more severe. Still a few days out to know a good when or where, but we will watch it through the week.

Sunday into the beginning of next week, temps are expected to back off a bit and so are our dew point temps.

Here’s what the NWS had to say about it:

“But I for one am looking forward to Sunday/Monday if this forecast can actually pan out…cause this humidity has made it`s presence definitely known this summer.”
