Showers/Storms This Evening, Maybe a Break Tomorrow

Current Radar

Tonight: Rain Exiting – Temps into the 70s Overnight

Showers and storms are in the area and more continue to build to our north. We’ll have to watch those as they sink southward, keeping evening plans in mind. It’ll be safer than not to have an umbrella on hand if you plan to be outside.

Into the late evening/early morning hours, we could experience some fog, so keep that in mind if you have any early morning plans as we head into Sunday.

Sunday & Monday: A Pleasant Break

My Forecast - Google Chrome 2016-08-06 07.12.32

Into Sunday, we begin that much needed “break” from the humidity. It will still be fairly warm and there will still be dew points in the upper 60s, but it won’t be as brutal as we have experienced in recent times. Very small chance of showers, but worth the mention since it’s still summer.

Monday looks to be the nicest day we have seen in a while with little rain chances. Temps may just reach 90°, but those dew point temps will fall back down into the mid 60s.

We thank the cold front that’ll pass through Saturday for bringing in this much needed drier air.

Extended Outlook: Muggy Conditions Return

My Forecast - Google Chrome 2016-08-06 07.12.50

After that nice break from the humid and hot conditions, they will return as we head into the middle of next week. Next week should be fairly consistent with what we have experienced through a good portion of the summer; hot, humid, and decent afternoon shower and storm chances.
