FRIDAY LATE AFTERNOON – EARLY EVENING

Sprinkley rain may pull up. Meh.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON TO SUNDAY AFTERNOON

  • Light & medium-intensity rain
  • ETA mid/late Sat afternoon (phrase is intentionally vague!)
  • Off and on for 24 hrs or so
  • Most likely raining: Saturday night
  • Not concerned about lightning or severe weather

The problem: I’m not sure when it will stop. Most of the rain should be gone by Sunday mid-morning, but for the rest of Sunday we could get a stray shower. Poncho up, fans. Tailgates need tents! read more

  • AM rush hour may be rainy.
  • Umbrellas for the bus stop esp for you earlybirds.
  • Those red returns on the HRRR model below may be capable of dropping around 0.25″ to 0.5″ in a few spots. Nottabigdeal and it may miss us.
  • Gone before lunch, knock on wood. Day looks dreary.

Still very cold for Saturday morning, waking up to temps in the low 20s, but temps recover nicely – getting around 50° for the afternoon.

Coldest Temps So Far This Season Tonight/Friday Morning, Soaking Rain Expected Sunday PM thru Monday AM

Temperatures will likely bottom out in the 14° – 17° range overnight into the early morning hours of Friday. Bundle up for the bus stop, AM commute – frostbite can set in quickly.

Winds, gusty at times, from the SW have gotten slightly milder temps in today as we reached the mid to upper 50s today.

Unfortunately, this mild air will soon be ushered away as a cold front pushes thru tonight and bring artic air into the area. read more

Cold Before A Warm Up & Some Rain Early Next Week

It was a half Blerg today, clouds finally cleared out this afternoon – but temps remained cold, hardly making it above freezing.

Wednesday will be slightly “warmer” with highs in the low to mid 50s. We could see a few sprinkles (liquid) Wednesday evening that make you turn on the windshield wipers a couple of times, but nothing more than that. read more
