Round One – Now until Afternoon
Not a whole lot going on today, an outside chance of a quick shower/non-severe storm, but the overwhelming majority of us will stay dry today.
All eyes are on Sunday.

Both of our counties are outlooked with “x” probability occurring within a 25 miles radius of you:
Both of our counties (Williamson and Davidson) are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 7pm, for the possibility of damaging straight-line winds and hail. Another concern today will be flash flooding. If you come across a flooded roadway, turn around – don’t drown. We are not concerned about tornadoes today.
Stormy afternoon and evening ahead of us.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked our Davidson and Williamson counties with a:
And not to be forgotten is the flash flooding threat.
Timing:
Coverage of storms should gradually increase over the next couple of hours.
Another 90° day, but thankfully no rain chances to deal with.
Our weather picks up tomorrow, with a low-end chance of severe weather Wednesday evening.
Some showers will be around Wednesday morning, these will be no big deal and should be out of here before lunch.
BNA ended up getting all the way to 91°, just one degree shy of the daily record high. First time seeing temperatures in the 90s since September 26th of last year. Cicadas love it.
We should stay dry today, you’d be very unlucky to see a brief shower.
We are finally rewarded with several dry days strung together; however we’ll also have some hot temperatures to deal with.

Monday – Wednesday we’ll be getting reallll close to the 90° mark. If we do get there, it’ll be the first time so far this year. Not record territory, but around 10 degrees above average.
It’s that time of the year where we have no choice but to play the rain lottery. All will enter, few will win.

Rain/thunderstorm chances will diminish as we get closer to sunset. Impossible to know exactly who wins and when, but if you do see some rain, it won’t last forever. Lightning is possible, so if you have any outdoor plans, know where you can head inside and wait it out.
Some light showers are possible thru the rest of the evening into tonight; I think most outdoor activities should be safe. No rainouts if you do see any rain, just some light rain.
Rain chances stick with us for Saturday. No way of knowing for sure when/where. ‘Tis the season.
A nice and warm Thursday evening in store for us. All outdoor activities have the green light.
We’ll still deal with some rain chances Friday, but models have been trending towards lighter and less rain.
