As of 11a, showers are coming to an end.
Good news is that during the day today looks fairly dry. Can’t totally rule out a stray shower/storm but really think most outdoor plans today you have between lunch and this evening will be dry.
Models suggest tonight will almost be a repeat of last night. We’ll be watching another cluster/line of storms off to our NW that slowly pushes into our area. Similar to last night, it’s expected to weaken some prior to arrival, but it’s unclear exactly how much.

The Storm Prediction Center has us outlooked again with a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles. We are not outlooked for hail or tornadoes. Of course, heavy rain leading to localized flash flooding will also be a possibility.
We’ll be able to watch these storms as they head down I-24 later this evening and have a better idea on what to expect. We’ll be sending out updates as needed on all of our socials.
Saturday gives me déjà vu.
It’s likely we wake up to another round of showers, perhaps some storms, in the morning. Main threat with this will be heavy rain, possibly leading to more flooding issues.
Mostly dry during the day, but can’t totally rule out a stray shower/storm.
Then, another line of storms swinging through Saturday evening. This line could be a tad more prominent, as the SPC has us outlooked with a 15% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles.

The latest HRRR model brings the storms in around dinnertime. I wouldn’t hang your hat on any exact ETAs just yet.

Those with outdoor plans tomorrow evening should remain flexible. Have an indoor plan to go to when these storms roll thru – you don’t want to get caught outside in this heavy rain, lightning and wind.
As things change, we’ll keep you updated on all of our socials.
Sunday and Monday our rain/storm chances seem to be a bit more Wattery style – as in more scattered showers/storms in the afternoon/evening. Hard to pin down any exact ETAs. We’ll especially be watching for any slow-moving/training storms that enhance any flooding potential.
Models continue to suggest that we could see 2-4″ of additional rain, with isolated higher amounts possible. Our Flood Watch remains in effect until 6p Sunday.

If you encounter any flooded roadways – turn around, don’t drown. There’s no telling how deep the water actually is. If you live in a flood-prone area, be sure to pay extra close attention to the forecast and be ready to act quickly.
Temperatures continue to stay very consistent. Tuesday and beyond looks drier.
