After our recent very quiet and dry spell, we are now playing catch up, with rain chances every single day over the next week.
Today [Tuesday] has the lowest odds of us seeing rain out of the next seven.
Scattered showers/storms will be possible this afternoon/evening, although I think most of us stay dry during the day.
The HRRR model has a guess, although it’s far from perfect:

In the off chance you do see a storm today, the Storm Prediction Center has us outlooked with a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles. So probably not, but the chance isn’t zero either – just something to keep in mind. We are not outlooked with tornado or hail probabilities.
Wednesday looks like a wet one. Models are in decent agreement that showers/storms return around the mid-morning hours, with on/off chances lasting throughout the day – although it won’t rain all day.
The HRRR gives another educated guess:

Rain/storm chances will continue each day Thursday thru Memorial Day (Monday), although confidence in exact timing decreases as we get further out.
Generally speaking, the highest rain chances each day will be at some point during the afternoon/evening. Again, still think it’s too soon to start canceling any outdoor plans you have, but a back-up plan that involves being indoors should certainly be in the back of your head.
The good news is 1) after today, there are no severe weather chances for any of the days – although this could change and 2) we could use the rainfall, 1-3″ is expected over the next week.
We’ll be able to start getting more specific as the week goes on, stay connected to the forecast!
Temperatures stay fairly consistent throughout the week, with highs generally in the low to mid 80s. The exception being today as we once again reach into the low 90s.
