Cooler, Drier Air Means Great Weekend Weather

Current Radar

Tonight: Winds Calming, Chilly!

This evening we’ll fall through the 60s into the 50s by late evening. Tonight would be more appropriate for marshmallow roasting.

Sunday: Less Wind, Same Cool/Dry Air – Early 48° High 77°

Good news for fans of fall: Saturday’s cooler temps are expected to repeat on Sunday. Pressure gradients (measure of how fast pressure changes over certain area) will relax a bit, in turn, causing winds to slow down. read more

Dry, Sunny, Outdoor Activity Weather

Current Radar

Tonight: Cold Front Pushes Through, Temps Fall Into the 60s

Winds will become northerly with the passage of the previously mentioned cold front. It won’t have a big effect on our overnight low temperature, as much as tomorrow’s daytime highs. Again, no rain is expected with this front. You may see some clouds, but otherwise, it’s a nice night to be out on the town. read more

Warm Start to October, Little to No Rain Down the Stretch

Current Radar

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Comfortable – 72° by 9PM

No complaints about Mother Nature tonight. Temperatures will fall slowly into the 70s after dinner time.

Mainly clear sky conditions will allow overnight lows to reach the low 60s.

Wednesday: Clear Skies, A Bit Warmer – Early 63° High 88°

Like the director of a band, M. Nature requests more of Tuesday’s weather for Wednesday. read more

Wednesday: Nice Temps, Slight Chance of Showers – Wake Up 53° High 78°

Another cold front is expected to swing through the area, reinforcing our cooler air. Along with this boundary, a slight chance of showers is possible. read more

Little More HOT, Lots Cooler Next Week

Current Radar

Tonight: Warm, Mostly Clear Skies – 80º by 8PM

Not too bad for a September night. Again, much like last night, where it’s probably not bonfire material yet. Temps will fall through the 70s after dark sets in.

Sunday: Need More Vitamin D? Sunny Again! – Early 66° High 92°

Certainly not very good for the vampires out there. Temperatures during the afternoon will reach the lower 90s again, and we will introduce a slight uptick in humidity levels. This may push the “feels like” temperature into the middle and upper 90s, but either way, it’ll be plain hot. read more

Under (High) Pressure, Whole Week is Sunny and Dry

Current Radar

Tonight: Gorgeous Evening, Temps In the 70s

The temperature/dew point grids look great for a night outdoors with temperatures in the 70s by 7pm and the dew point in the lower 60s. Humidity levels will feel nearly non-existent compared to what we’ve had.

Overnight, we’ll drop down into the lower 60s!

Wednesday: Mostly Sunny, Very Few Clouds – Wake Up 63° High 89°

On a scale of 0-100%, we’re only expecting about 10% cloud cover on Wednesday. This means that much of Tuesday’s weather carries over…lots of sunshine and dry air over the region will make playing (or working) outside feel more “bear”able.

Extended Outlook:

screen-shot-2016-09-20-at-8-28-58-am

No problems in regards to rain, really through the entire week/weekend. Afternoon highs will top out in the low 90s with a gradual increase in clouds later in the week.

Those attending the Pilgrimage Festival this weekend should be in good shape! As long as our system out west isn’t *magically forecasted to speed up by about 36 hours*, Saturday and Sunday look fine.
