Continuing to look at model data in regard to rain chances this weekend, models are still in good agreement that Friday will be dry.
The latest Euro model wants to hold off rain until Saturday evening, continuing into Sunday.
The GFS still thinks the rain arrives earlier, sometime Saturday morning and lasting thru Sunday.
The official NWS grids don’t really ramp up our rain chances until Saturday evening, so a good bet that any Saturday PM plans should include having some rain gear.
Thankfully, no severe weather chances – just some rain.
In regard to Hurricane Rafael, it no longer looks like it’ll influence our weather anymore. The forecast track has changed quite a bit and looks like it’ll make a left turn into the Gulf.
Thankfully, today is our last day with highs near 80° for the foreseeable future. However, temperatures will continue to stay 10 – 13° above average.
