A nice Friday lies ahead, highs in the low 70s, no rain.
Unfortunately, we won’t have the luck of a dry weekend.
The GFS and Euro have come to a lot better agreement (at least for now) with what this weekend will look like in regard to rain chances.
I’ll show the Euro, just because, idk, I don’t really have a reason!
Rain will likely begin sometime Saturday afternoon. And while it won’t be a consistent rain, on + off rain can be expected thru Sunday night. Thankfully, no severe weather is expected, and you probably won’t hear any thunder either. Rain could be heavy at times, and we should end up with 1″ – 1.5″ of rain by the time Sunday night rolls around.
Which is good news because an updated drought monitor came out today and shows a Moderate Drought for most of our area.
Dry weather returns Monday, and our next rain-maker looks to be mid next week.
Temperatures will stay fairly consistent over the next week or so, although still above-average.
