Sunset tomorrow night (afternoon) will be at 4:48pm.
Average high temps for Nashville rn are about 65°. We’re…running a little hot.
80° Sunday w/ sun. Add a few more clouds and knock a couple of degrees off the high for Monday.
Tuesday evening, rain chances will return thanks to a Fall cold front, typical for this time of year.
NWS with the science:
Still am not expecting severe weather. Instability values look to be low at 100-200 J/kg at best, lapse rates are poor at around 5-5.5 C/km, and the surface low is too far north in the Great Lakes area. Think this is will just be yet another beneficial rain event for Middle TN with highest rainfall totals around 0.5″ to 1″ favoring areas west of the Plateau.
NWS forecast discussion
High-Res models aren’t in range yet, but the GFS illustrates the timing. Looks a lot like our Halloween rain event. This model shows the rain weakening as it moves through, so we’ll have to wait and see if rain amounts hold true in the forecast.
You know what night it is: Tonight’s the night to change the batteries in your NOAA Weather Radio & Smoke Detectors.
Oh, and the clock thing.
