Boring weather for the next few days. Temps will warm tomorrow to around 60º. Same on Wednesday. This is great! It would stay great except there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms Wednesday night and Thursday. There’s a small chance for some isolated overnight showers Tuesday night, but this seems very insignificant.
We don’t expect severe storms with this system but we can’t rule it out given the warm temps and dewpoints we’ll have in place. It helps that the front is timed to come through in the overnight hours which will limit instability. SPC Barely has us in an outlook for general thunderstorms.
Current timings shows prefrontal rain around sundown Wednesday, and heavy rain and thunderstorms overnight in to Thursday morning.
Things stay wet for most of the day Thursday. You may see some crap apps with a snowflake on them for late Thursday or Friday. Don’t trust them. This will not be a snow event in all likelihood.
