Showers Arriving This Afternoon
Streamline of clouds currently blankets our skies as we wait for showers to arrive. Right now (10:58 AM), showers look to be just now making their way into the most northwestern portions of Middle Tennessee.
These showers will continue to move our way, likely reaching our area sometime in the early afternoon. The heaviest of the showers is expected to arrive later this afternoon into this evening.
HRRR Loop Now Through 2 AM
Showers look to linger through the evening and start moving out after midnight.
Today will be a good day to keep the umbrella handy and the rain boots ready.
Still a Bit Warmer Tomorrow, Much Cooler on Monday & Tuesday
Sunshine returns starting tomorrow after a few clouds move out during the morning from today’s system. Expect full on sunshine for Monday and Tuesday.
End of Next Week at a Glance
Wednesday and Thursday temps look to reach back into the above-average range with highs back into the 50s.
For Thursday/Friday, both the GFS and Euro show varying strength troughs moving through the area, bringing some showers and colder temps back to Middle Tennessee. The timing between both are hours off, which could play a huge role in what we end up seeing to end next week.
Worth mentioning to keep an eye on over the next few days. Hopefully model consensus will increase, probably won’t quite yet.
