Rest of the Week – Dreary with Scattered Periods of Rain
The rain, rain is not going away anytime soon. Our local NWS best described the rest of this week by stating there will be the potential for numerous periods of rainfall.
We will see our next batch of these scattered showers this afternoon into this evening.
HRRR Loop Now Through Early Tomorrow Morning
Looking at the rest of the week, that same scattered, on and off pattern will continue.
GFS Loop Today Through Late Friday Evening
There is no way to say exactly when and where each of these showers will develop. So, it will be best to keep an umbrella handy each day through the remainder of the week.
This Weekend – More Showers, May Get Periods of Sunshine by Sunday
Into this weekend, our on and off shower chances continue. At this point, Saturday looks to have the better scattered chance than Sunday, but showers are possible both days.
GFS Loop Saturday Morning Through Late Sunday Evening
Highs will top off into the mid to upper 70s both days with dew point temps coasting in the low 60s.
Through this entire period, given the off and on nature of all of these showers, we actually won’t see a whole lot in terms of actual accumulation. Now through Sunday, we will only see around an inch to an inch and a half across the majority of our area.
WPC Quantitative Precipitation Forecast
Different areas will see more/less than this, but all in all it will be a really dreary period over the next few days with not a whole lot in terms of accumulation to show for it by the end of the weekend.
