Scattered Showers are Here, More Showers Coming Later
Scattered showers have already begun to arrive here in Middle Tennessee. Expect for off/on showers to continue through the early evening with more decent shower coverage later this evening.
HRRR Loop Now Through 7 AM Tomorrow
Measurable showers will begin to arrive in the next few hours, but scattered showers will continue until then. Showers look to stick around throughout the overnight period.
For those with outdoor Friday night plans, I would prepare for rain. I was a bit optimistic this morning, however, our local NWS had this to say in their afternoon discussion:
“It will be sloppy for high school football games tonight. For those in middle TN/Nashville area/ hopefully the rain will wait until the second half.”
Aside from the showers, it will also be semi-windy and chilly into this evening.
Temperature Forecast 5 PM Through 10 PM
Pack the umbrella and have a good, warm water-proof jacket for tonight’s games.
Chilly Weather Pattern Starts Tomorrow
We may have a few lingering showers through tomorrow morning, but for the most part expecting for gradual clearing through the day with sunshine by the afternoon. NAM3 displays showers exiting by the time we wake up tomorrow morning.
NAM3 Loop Friday Night Through Saturday Morning

Sunny skies will prevail through the weekend into the beginning of next week. Overnight temps will fall into the 30s each night, with patchy frost being possible Saturday and Sunday night.
