By 10 PM, HRRR shows some rain moving into the area, very scattered, and fairly brief:
NAM 4 shows more scattered showers, with a lot of these showers popping up in our area:
So which is right and when is the rain coming?

The NAM 4 shows rain by the early evening hours and continuing through the night. HRRR and Euro show some rain in the later evening hours. GFS doesn’t think there will be much rain, only a very slight chance in early AM hours.
Bottom Line: it’s probably going to rain at least once tonight. Shouldn’t last long, but I would plan for periods of rain in the later evening hours.
Thursday: Rain Uncertainty – Wake Up 53° High 70°
Our uncertainty continues into Thursday. Once again through the morning and early afternoon, NAM 4 and Euro show scattered showers in and around our area, whereas GFS thinks the rain will stay out of our area.
NAM 4 even shows a possible pop up thunderstorm in the area:
No other models show this, but if it does occur, it should not be severe.
Into Thursday night, NAM 4 and GFS don’t think there will be much rain in the evening, maybe a small shower or two:
GFS confirms:
Bottom Line: Keep an umbrella handy all day. Chances of rain will increase throughout the day.
You’d rather be safe than sorry.
Friday: Rain Possible in Early AM and PM – Wake Up 51° High 70°
Most of the models agree that the rain should be gone by the AM commute. Clouds will remain throughout the day. Looks like we will stay dry in the evening as well.
