Tonight – Increasing Clouds – High 80
Winds are beginning to shift from the east to the south. Dew points will rise overnight, delivering moisture from the Gulf.
Tuesday – Rainy Day – High 80
7a 60 . 10a 73 . 1p 79 . 4p 80 . 7p 76 . 10p 70
Rain will arrive inside a relatively narrow band of moisture, which will move north into western Middle TN, then drift east. We are confident it’ll rain. Just over a half inch of rain is forecast.
Because the rain has neither front nor boundary to push it along, this will mostly be an all-day, off and on (mostly off), event — although rain is more likely in the late afternoon/early evening. We may even see a few storms, but severe weather is not expected.
Hi-Res NAM model Tuesday 11 AM – 8 PM:
Wednesday – Early Rain Clearing – High 82
7a 65 . 10a 73 . 1p 79 . 4p 82 . 7p 75 . 10p 69
Some light rain may still hang around from Tuesday. Rain chances end around lunch, but clouds will remain until Thursday.
