🎄 The Tropical Christmas Vibe
I have never been to Hawaii but I’m guessing this is what it feels like there today. Temperatures are headed for the low 70s again while you unwrap gifts. Humidity remains high (precipitable water values this morning are 185 % of normal), but that doesn’t translate to buckets of rain.

Rain Chances?
Not much. The latest Area Forecast Discussion says there’s just a low chance of light showers through Friday evening, mainly for our neighbors east of I‑65. In other words, we might feel a few sprinkles, but no epic downpours. The 12z HRRR is below.

Warm Until Sudden Cold
Expect afternoon highs in the upper-60s to mid-70s right through Sunday. Warm, moist air lingers until a strong cold front sweeps through late Sunday, bringing widespread rain (again, not flooding) and a substantial temperature drop to start next week. More on that this weekend.

What To Do With This Info
- Keep a light jacket handy but no need to cancel outdoor plans today or Friday.
- You’ll see clouds and maybe a sprinkle, but you’re more likely to comment on how warm it feels than how wet it is.
- Keep an eye on the late‑Sunday front for the abrupt return of winter Monday-Tuesday.
