A “Whoa” Cold Blast May Be On the Way

We were hoping for a high in the low 50s today, but these clouds are really really stubborn…and keeping us squarely in the mid 40s.

A cold front arrives tonight, bringing our next rain chances. Amounts will generally be a tenth of an inch or less. HRRR from 8 pm tonight – 8 am Monday.

IF any of this changes to flurries, no impacts are expected.

Temps get knocked back into the low 40s for highs Monday. Kinda like when you hit the income tax spot on Monopoly…it’s like, c’mon man. Recent experience. Boardwalk hotel is worse. Way worse. That’ll sink even the best investor.

As we start to warm up through the week (and hopefully finally get some sun), I’m starting to eye next weekend. After additional rain chances Thursday…our temps could really get cold.

The forecast high for Saturday is 31 degrees. 😆🥶 I’d prefer not, but here we are.

The NWS Blend of Model’s snapshot of the wind chill at noon…. brrr!… 18 degrees.

If this happens, lows will easily be in the teens. That’s usually mid-January weather around here.

Well, let’s just stop there and enjoy the week we have in front of us and worry about this later. As my daughter says… toodles!
