Low to Medium Rain Chances Monday thru Wednesday AM

Showers will be fairly isolated on Monday, mostly confined to the afternoon and evening. Don’t think this causes any rainouts to any practices or games, rainfall totals will be very light.

Much higher rain chances will be around Tuesday late morning thru the early morning hours of Wednesday. Coverage will be much more widespread thanks to a cold front passing thru. Most everyone should get a decent bit of rain. Won’t be surprised if a few of us hear a few rumbles of thunder, but no severe weather is expected.

I think the Euro model (below) shows a pretty good depiction of what the radar could look like. This particular run thinks rain is gone by Wednesday.

Would not be surprising if a few showers lingering into early Wednesday morning, but most of the day should be dry.

Models have not been very consistent on rainfall totals throughout this event. Expected totals are now back up closer to 0.75″ – 1″ of rain. I think that could be a little too aggressive, but those that get caught under a heavier shower(s) could certainly see that.

On top of the needed rain, the cold front will bring us some seasonal temperatures for the back half of this week. High temps near 80° will be a nice change. Temps in the morning will be perfect for sitting outside while you drink your coffee.
