Think the Wattery has shut off for the remainder of our Sunday. Winners were mostly confined to Davidson Co., although there were only a few winners.
Forecast for this week will be fairly copy and paste.
Medium to high chances for Wattery winners will exist throughout the week, likely continuing into the weekend.
Coverage of showers and storms will be greater than what we’ve seen this weekend. Although it’s very unlikely you will see rain every day this week. You may only see it once or twice, maybe several times! Just no way to know for sure, that’s just the pain of the Wattery.
Chances will be highest during from midday thru the evening daily. If you have outdoor plans, best just to stay weather aware and keep an eye on your favorite radar. As always, we have one our website for you to look at any time, feel free to bookmark it: Radar | Nashville Severe Weather
Our severe threat will be very low, although these pop-ups have a tendency to pulse up quickly with heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds. With any slow-moving storm, isolated flash flooding will be possible. Turn around, don’t drown.
High temperatures will run around to slightly above average for early July – so, hot.
Dewpoints in the low 70s won’t help anything out either – it’s gonna be hot and muggy. Take frequent breaks if you must be outdoors for long periods of time.
