Scattered Rain Thru Friday Morning, Then False Spring Starts Sunday

There’s been about half an inch of rain already measured at BNA so far, with more on the way.

HRRR model (above) thinks rain continues on/off throughout the night, tapering off near the AM commute. Not a bad idea to have rain jackets handy in the morning. Can’t totally rule out a rumble of thunder overnight, but it’s unlikely.

Some models think we could see a few pop-up showers Friday evening, not too sure about that. I suppose having some rain gear handy if you have any dinner plans won’t hurt.

Rest of the weekend + early next week will be dry.

Saturday is the “ugly duckling” out of the next 7 days. Highs only in the mid 50s – which is still above average!

The rest of the forecast we will be spoiled, highs in the mid/upper 60s – even reaching the low 70s a few days. This is False Spring – try not to get too comfortable!
