Snow Chances This Evening Likely To Disappoint, No Impacts Expected

Although clipper systems can sometimes overperform, expectations are low with this one.

Up to 0.1 – 0.2″ (basically a dusting) of snow possible throughout the evening, mostly confined to elevated surfaces/grassy areas. Impacts to roads look unlikely.

Although temps are currently in the upper 30s (as of 3:15p), they’ll drop below freezing at some point this evening. Until then the flakes will splat/melt.

The Dry Air Monster will munch away at the onset of the precip.

Snow more likely to stick after sunset, but not much, if any, will stick.

Updates throughout the “event” will be covered on X/Insta/Threads/BlueSky.

Some light rain chances Wednesday PM, but that looks meh and any rainfall looks light.

Temperatures to remain cold thru the work week. Quite the welcome to December. Some slightly “warmer” temps possible as we get into the weekend/early next week, but that could be accompanied by some rain chances.
