Wind gusts up to 20 – 30 mph have been common today, and will continue to be thru Friday as cooler/drier air is ushered in.
Our next several mornings will be the coldest of the season thus far.
Thursday 7a Temp/Wind Chill: 38°/31°
Friday 7a Temp/Wind Chill: 38°/32°
Saturday 7a Temp/Wind Chill: 37°/34°
Sunday 7a Temp/Wind Chill: 39°/37°
These values are for the Metro Nashville area, so majority of other locations will likely be several degrees colder.
If you hear any talk about sNOw, we are not included. There’s a chance for a dusting on the Plateau, nothing expected here.
Still only a 10-30% chance of getting below freezing, so that record of latest Fall freeze (November 27) may end up falling.
Thursday + Friday highs will struggle to reach 50°, paired with gusts in the 20 – 30 mph, not pleasant. Saturday only a little better with highs in the mid 50s, although the winds will have calmed down.
Afternoons will be warmer Sunday and Monday, with highs returning to the 60s.
Rain chances also return Monday, but specific deets are unclear.
Longer range models still suggesting we could be in for a wet middle of next week (yes, including Thanksgiving), but a lot could change between now and then. We’ll keep an eye on it.
