As of 2pm, BNA has already reached 101° and we may end up getting a few degrees hotter. The daily record for Aug. 28 is 103° set in 1990 – we’ll see how close we get.
Our forecast high for tomorrow is 101° – if we do get there, it’ll be the first time since July 2012 that BNA has reached 100° three consecutive days.

It could be worse, but the “dry heat” thanks to dewpoints in the upper 50s makes it not-so-bad.
We can finally start talking about rain again tomorrow – sorta. Rain chances only around 10% so pretty unlikely but a few lucky folks may see some.
Rain chances appear more likely Friday thru Sunday, illustrated by the Euro below.

Showers/storms will be scattered, most likely during the afternoon/evening. If you have any outdoor plans this weekend, keep an eye on the radar as some storms could contain lightning and heavy rain.
The 6 – 10 day temp/precip outlook look exactly the same as they did in my dreams.
