The NWS Nashville office made this neat graphic to show the chance of temperatures getting to at least 100° this week. Our highest chances will be Tuesday – Thursday, when we could very well get to the century mark 3 days in a row.
Thankfully dewpoints will only be in the low to mid 60s, so we should be able to stay below Heat Advisory criteria. Anyway, it’ll still feel hot.

No rain chances until maybe Thursday or Friday, but those chances are low (15-25%). Slightly higher rain chances exist Labor Day weekend, but that is still a ways out – so things could (and probably will) change.
Both counties will be under an Air Quality Alert all day Monday.
“The general public is not likely to be affected. Active children and adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.”
