Models have had a very hard time handling how today will progress. Sooo embracing the uncertainty (as always) will be in play today.
The latest HRRR model shows the activity missing us to the south and east, leaving us dry…

- previous runs of the HRRR showed our area getting in on the showers/storms, so it is certainly not out of the question
- if you do see a storm, it could contain heavy rain, lightning and some gusty straight-line winds
- some grass/gardens may be left sad due to lack of rain
Additional rain/storm chances will be around Saturday afternoon and evening, although it’s unlikely that everyone sees rain.

- HRRR model (above) shows most of the activity avoiding us
- if we do see any storms, heavy rain, lightning and some gusty straight line winds will be possible
- the forecast could change! especially with models not preforming very well so far
Some leftover showers could be hanging around Sunday morning, but all the activity should be gone by the afternoon. After that, no legit rain chances in the foreseeable future.
Speaking of Sunday, things will cool down as well as dewpoints dropping down to a more respectable level (upper 50s/low 60s).
