Severe Weather Possible This Afternoon/Evening, Nice Rest of the Week

The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked us with a:

  • 15% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles
  • 5% chance of severe hail within 25 miles
  • although we are not outlooked for tornadoes, one cannot be totally ruled out, but it is very unlikely

The HRRR model (above) shows storms forming just to our west, almost on top of us. Not everyone will see a storm. If you have outdoor plans, stay connected. If you see a storm, it could be feisty.

NWS Nashville thinks our timeframe for potential severe weather will be from now to 7pm.

Stay connected today, most of us probably won’t see anything, but a few unlucky ones could experience severe storms. We’ll be tweeting updates as needed.

Nice Rest of the Week

Once we get thru today, we are rewarded with a fantastic rest of the week. Dry weather, cooler temps slowly warming up the rest of the week.
