Heat Advisory today for both counties from 1p – 7p.
Why?
Actual air temps in the upper 90’s + dewpoints in the low 70’s = heat index values of 105° + likely.
“Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never (!!!) be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.“
Another Heat Advisory will likely be needed for tomorrow and Saturday thanks to similar, disgusting heat index values possible.
And if you are looking for relief from rain, it ain’t looking good.
