Rain will stick with us all day. Showers will be off and on, with a few rumbles of thunder, but nothing severe.
The HRRR’s Simulated Radar shows showers all day:
Monday– Mostly Sunny, Hotter & Drier – Wake Up 72, High 93
High pressure plus west winds will dry us out and heat us up. The heat index (how hot it feels) will be in the upper 90s. Blergh.
We will have a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms, primarily in the afternoon. Overnight, we will completely lose our rain chances.
Tuesday– Hot & Sunny – Wake Up 74, High 96
High pressure and a westerly flow will continue to influence our weather. We will once again be HOT and dry. The heat index will reach 100.
We will have another slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. The National Weather Service believes that if storms do flare up Monday or Tuesday, they could be isolated strong to severe.
