Week Ahead: Hot, Humid Until Thursday Night, Then a Glorious Weekend!

By YK on Sunday, September 8, 2013 @ 4:12 pm

Monday – Mostly Sunny – High 93

7a 71 . 10a 82 . 1p 89 . 4p 91 . 7p 87 . 10p 79

Heat and humidity, but with a small chance of rain.

Tuesday – Chance of Afternoon Thunderstorms – High 94

7a 73 . 10a 84 . 1p 91 . 4p 94 . 7p 89 . 10p 80

Hottest day of the week. With high humidity, the heat index will approach 96. There may be enough energy in place to break “the cap” and get some afternoon showers/thunderstorms going. All our lawns could use some water.

Wednesday & Beyond

90s heat and high humidity continue until a cold front arrives Thursday night, bringing increased rain chances and a cooler, drier weekend. Highs Friday (85), Saturday (81), Sunday (85) . . . all with no rain expected.
