Gonna Get Hot This Week. Rain? Maybe Not.

Current Radar

Monday – Sunny, Little Bit Warmer – Early 54°, High 81°

The only thing keeping temps down is a nice north wind, thanks to some low pressure off to our east:

Tuesday – North Wind Leaves, Prepare for Hot – Early 54°, High 86°

Our nice north wind leaves as a Bermuda High sets up. Here come south winds, which means more humidity, more heat. But, no rain.

Bermuda High for the Rest of the Week = Summery

A Bermuda High is when high pressure camps near Bermuda.

This means hot and humid weather for us from Wednesday through the end of the week.

High pressure stretching over Middle Tennessee usually keeps the rain out. Here’s what NWS Nashville thinks of the rain chances later this week:

The Euro model shows several mid/late week rain chances, but due to terms of service, we can look at it, but we can’t post it.

The GFS model shows alot less rain — the “wettest” of the GFS is Friday night, and it’s not much at all.

Looks like the only reason your apps may have a chance of rain is because of the Euro model. Those chances look pretty low to us.
