I know I sound like a broken record, but I’m not sure how else to phrase it.
Each day thru at least Thursday will consist of Wattery chances, mostly confined to the afternoon/evening hours.
Impossible to know if plan ‘x’ will be dry at ‘y’ time – just part of the Wattery.
We’ve seen quite a bit of rain already today, with more moving thru as of the time of writing (3:30p). Activity should decrease as we head closer to sunset. You can check the radar anytime on our website here: Radar | Nashville Severe Weather – and we’ll be sending out updates on all our socials as needed.

Wattery winnings stayed away from us today, but not sure that will hold for very long.
Daily rain/storm chances will be in the forecast from Friday until at least Wednesday.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day, most likely in the afternoon and evening timeframe.

Unfortunately, models have upped our rain chances for Thursday.
HRRR model (and others) think we could see some scattered showers/thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening timeframe. Impossible to know exactly when and where, that’s just part of the Wattery.

We’ll get a well-earned break from the rain thru Thursday.
While we get a few dry days strung together, temperatures will be warming up. Rest of the forecast temps will be in the upper 80s/low 90s.

The past several runs of the HRRR model have been consistent on bringing in a few more storms later this evening, around 7 – 9p. While I’m not totally sold on that, with the consistency in recent runs – it will be worth watching. While I suppose a storm could be strong, maybe briefly severe, I think most should stay below severe limits.

Beautiful day ongoing, and this will continue thru the evening. Great night for any outdoor plans, including the closing of the CMAs.
Monday:

We unfortunately have another day to watch for severe weather.

We are currently watching an MCS move safely to our south, but we’re likely to still see some rain – heavy at times, with some lightning.
We’ll be posting updates as needed throughout the day, you can also check the radar anytime on our website, fo free: Radar | Nashville Severe Weather

As we get a break from the rain and storms, we’ll be watching for any activity upstream of us to our west. There’s relatively low confidence in additional showers/storms – it all depends on if our atmosphere is able to regroup.

Did not expect to cry reading that. Our family lost our home in 2020 and, “east Nashville, get to your safe space” could be the most important words of our lives. Thank you. A million thank yous. And long live Nashville Sever Weather.
