Potential Record High Today, Showers Friday PM

We’ll be keeping an eye on the thermometer today. Our forecast high of 86° would tie our daily record high of 86° set in 2007. Regardless of if we get there or not, it’ll be very warm, ~20° above average.

Although we’ll still be warm tomorrow, it won’t be as warm thanks to increasing cloud cover and some rain chances that move in on Friday.

Rain chances start to creep up around lunchtime, increasing into the afternoon and evening. Just some showers, rainfall totals up to 0.2″ – not expecting any lightning. A rain jacket or umbrella should do the trick for any dinner plans.

The rest of the weekend looks dry with cool mornings and warm afternoons. Pretty solid weather for any outdoor plans you may have.

Temperatures start to rebound early next week, making it back to the 80s by the middle of next week. No additional rain chances until maybe Wednesday or so.

Long-range models suggest us staying fairly warm, with things looking more active by the beginning of April.
