Yesterday our high temperature was 70° – we won’t be anywhere close to that for the foreseeable future. But to be fair, it is late November.
Dry but cool temps today. In fact, most of the US will be dry today, good news for those flying or driving on the so-called busiest travel day of the year. If you won’t be in town this holiday, you can always check the forecast for wherever you may be by going to weather.gov and typing in the city/zip code for a detailed forecast from the pros at NWS.

We’ll actually be below-average temperature wise over at least the next 7 days. I suppose this may be making up for our lack of freezing temperatures throughout November.

Thanksgiving Day we’ll wake up with temperatures right around freezing. Highs only making it into the mid 40s. Prepare to bundle up if you are deep frying your turkey, or if you have plans for a Turkey Trot or backyard football game.

Black Friday will be fairly similar. All of us will likely experience a hard freeze, with temperatures bottoming out in the low to mid 20s. Highs only reaching the mid 40s. Chilly shopping weather, although I know most of it is done online now – because who misses this? To be fair, back then, the deals were legit.

Rain chances return Saturday evening. Heads up for those with dinner/evening plans, might need a rain jacket.
This will be all rain. I know the Euro model below throws a few purple pixels in the mix, but temperatures will be in the mid 40s at this time.

Rain should be mostly out of here by mid-morning on Sunday. Good news for those attending the Titans game.
Next chance of precipitation will be Monday night/Tuesday morning.
“Something else to watch closely will be the potential for wintry precipitation. Models have trended cooler next week, and depending on timing of precipitation, this could have implications on what type of precipitation we get. At this point, don`t think it`s anything to get too worried [or excited] about.” – NWS Nashville
Emphasis on that last sentence. The GFS model is the one that’s really been showing the potential for wintry precip, but the GFS has also been preforming fairly poorly this year. We’ll keep an eye on things.
