Showers/Storms Return Monday Evening, Nice + Cool Weather for Turkey Day

Plenty of sun today will get our high temps up into the mid 60s. We could see some fog develop tonight, heads up for AM commute on Monday.

Rain, maybe a non-severe thunderstorm returns Monday afternoon/evening, continuing through the overnight hours into early Tuesday morning.

We could hear some thunder, but with no storm fuel available – severe weather is not expected.

Additional showers, maybe a storm will be possible again thru Tuesday afternoon. Similar story, with very little to no storm fuel for the storms to work with – severe weather is currently not expected. If you hear about severe weather chances, there’s a low-end threat to our south.

Tuesday will be our last day of warm weather as much dry and cool air settles in.

Slightly below temperatures will be with us thru the rest of the week. Temperatures are likely to dip below freezing on Thanksgiving and Black Friday morning. Be prepared to bundle up if you are deep frying your turkey or participating in a Turkey Trot.

No rain is expected Wednesday thru Saturday, including Thanksgiving Day.

In fact, most of the US will have dry weather for Turkey Day. For those going out of town, you can go to weather.gov and type in wherever you may be going.

Both the GFS and Euro ensembles continue to think we have a very wet start to December. Still too far out to start talking about any specifics – although I will mention that this is expected to all be in the form of liquid precipitation.
