Rain and Storms Return Monday Night/Tuesday, Dry + Cool Thanksgiving

Cloud cover will hang on for a good portion of the day, but we’ll stay dry with some fairly warm temps in the mid 60s.

Sunday will have a lot more sun, but temperatures will remain similar, highs remain in the mid 60s.

Rain and storm chances return Monday night, continuing on and off throughout most of the day on Tuesday. The Euro model gives a glimpse of what the radar could look like:

As of right now, we aren’t outlooked with any severe probabilities. Models think we’ll have very little to no CAPE (storm fuel) to work with. This could change depending on the timing of when the storms arrive. We’ll be watching and keeping y’all updated.

After the front moves on thru, we’ll have drier and cooler air move on in.

For the lots of people traveling on Wednesday on the busiest travel day of the year, things look to be quiet across most of the US. Here locally, highs will only reach the mid to upper 50s.

And for Turkey Day, whether you are doing a turkey trot, playing an outdoor football game, or just relaxing – the weather looks good for all of it. We’ll be dry, with some crisp, cool air. Highs only near 50°.

In fact, most of the US will be treated with dry weather for Thanksgiving. For those that will be out of town, you can always go to weather.gov and enter a city to get a detailed forecast for wherever you may be.

These dry and cool conditions will be a theme thru the end of the week.

Long-range models think we could see a good bit of rain to start of December. Way too far out to start thinking about any specifics, just something to keep in mind.
