Rain (Maybe Some Storms) Thursday PM and Friday

Today (Wednesday) will be dry with warm temps. Sun should peak out more and more as we get later in the day.

Rain chances return midday-ish Thursday and will continue thru the evening hours. Scattered showers and (non-severe) storms will be possible.

HRRR model gives a guess below, afternoon/evening outdoor plans may be wet.


Additional rain/storm chances will be possible Friday afternoon and evening. Current model indications show that this will be more scattered in nature, good news for HS playoff games, other outdoor plans. Confidence is still fairly low overall, so we aren’t close to any certainties. Those with outdoor plans during this time should keep an eye on the forecast, we’ll keep y’all updated.


We could see a few lingering showers early Saturday morning, but models are more confident in a dry Saturday and Sunday now. Great news for any weekend plans you may have; it’ll even be paired with warm temperatures.

Next wave of rain chances arrives Tuesday-ish.

Confidence on the Thanksgiving Day forecast continues to be very, very, very low. Long-range ensembles continue to think we have some rain chances around, with temperatures around average for this time of year. Forecasts 7+ days out are a blind throw at a dartboard.
