No shortage of warm weather this week. High temps will be in the low to mid 70s for most of the week, with a few exceptions such as today and later this weekend.

There also won’t be any shortages of rain chances this week, although rainfall totals seem to be manageable.
Our first chance will be Tuesday. It’ll come in two waves – the first being near the middle of the day/afternoon, then late Tuesday night into the wee hours of Wednesday morning. No severe weather is expected, although we could hear some rumbles of thunder. It is also very possible some of us stay completely dry.
HRRR model gives a guess, although it won’t look exactly like this:

Most, if not all, of the day Wednesday should be dry.
Additional rain/storm chances return Thursday and Friday – but models are still a bit all over the place. It certainly won’t rain all day during Thursday and Friday, we’ll get some breaks – when those breaks are is currently unknown.
As of right now, we are not outlooked with any severe weather probabilities.
“Medium range guidance continues to struggle with the evolution of the system late this week which limits forecast confidence on any hazardous weather. We`ll continue to watch Thu/Fri as the synoptic setup still presents the background elements for strong storms should instability and other mesoscale factors line up.” says NWS Nashville
AKA, we could see some strong storms during this Thursday/Friday timeframe, but confidence is still very low right now. This is something we’ll keep an eye on. For now, some decent rainfall is expected.
Rainfall totals over the next 7 days should add up to ~2-3 inches. Current thinking is that this is all spread out enough to avoid any flooding concerns.

Low rain chances stay in the forecast Saturday and Sunday, but this far away any confidence is low. I see no need to alter any outdoor weekend plans as of right now.
A current way-too-early, shot in the dark guess for Turkey Day looks to be temps warmer than average and maybe some rain. You may think, wow that’s really vague – yes it is. This will be constantly tweaked over the next 10 days.

Weather 101 from our friends at NWS Nashville is back *tonight* – cannot recommend this enough. It’s free knowledge from the best in the biz.
