Rain Chances Continue Thru Thursday; Dry Halloween

The bulk of the rain has moved on out already, but we’ll still deal with some scattered showers thru this afternoon.

This will not be the end of the rain, as more showers will move in Tuesday evening.

Euro model (show below) thinks on/off rain sticks around for the majority of Wednesday.

No severe weather concerns, no flooding concerns. Just some good ole’ rain with an outside shot of a rumble of thunder.

Some lingering showers will be possible throughout the day on Thursday, but most of the day should be dry.

Halloween on Friday will be dry but cool. Those going candy-getting should prepare a warm costume, with temperatures in the upper 40s expected.

Temperatures throughout the week will be fairly cool, I’m particularly looking at Wednesday and Thursday, when highs aren’t expected to get out of the mid 50s. We do have yet to reach the freezing mark, which today (Oct. 27) marks the average date of the first Fall freeze. It’s coming, just a little later than average this year.
