Dry Until Early Next Week, Drought Improvement

Above-average temperatures remain in the forecast over the next week or so. Getting closer to average by the middle of next week, but still slightly above. Thankfully the dewpoints will be manageable.


Dry weather will continue throughout the rest of the week, into the weekend. Good news for any outdoor plans and activities.

Rain chances pick back up starting Monday, lasting thru at least the middle of next week. Rainfall totals look halfway decent right now at around 1″ thru Wednesday. No hazardous weather expected.


New Drought Monitor came out today and showed improvements.

WillCo. now free of any category designation. Davidson still dealing with some Moderate Drought N of I-40, even a few pockets still dealing with Severe Drought in far northern portions of the county.
