Slightly drier air has made its way in behind the cold front that moved thru yesterday – but it won’t be all that noticeable.
Overall, it will be a nice weekend ahead. Not crazy temps w/ no rain – good weather to watch the crazy good slate of college football.
Temperatures will remain right around to slightly above average thru the next 7 or so days.

Models still are thinking that slightly above average temperatures stick with us thru the end of the month, even getting into the beginning of October. Not seeing any real signs of true Fall weather just yet.
Rainfall totals over the next 5 days look just about none.

The bright color indicating lots of rainfall in the Carolinas probably catch your eye. That’s from a probably soon-to-be named tropical storm. There’s still lots of uncertainty regarding it and the track it might take. We could maybe see some rain from it, but that’s 7-ish days away at this point – we’ll keep an eye on it, but nothing alarming right now.
