One last day of rain chances for at least a good bit.
Some scattered showers and storms will be possible this afternoon and evening thanks to a “cold” front moving thru – most of us will probably stay dry.

That “cold” front will bring in slightly drier air, really not much difference in temperatures, as seen in the graph below.
Temperatures will creep back up by early next week.

No meaningful rain chances exist as of right now for next week. Good thing we picked up some rain these past few days.
Speaking of – new Drought Monitor came out this morning.

Some slight improvement in WillCo. – most of Davidson still under a Moderate Drought. This only includes rainfall we’ve received up to Tuesday, so none of the rain we saw yesterday is taken into account.
On average, October is the driest month of the year – so that’s not great news either.
