Very meh rain chances exist this afternoon and Tuesday afternoon. I would bet most of us stay dry, but a few lucky people may get a quick shower. Even if you do see some rain, totals will be very light, not much help for our drought.
Other than that, rest of the work week looks dry. However…
“We continue to see a favored signal for decreasing temperatures and increasing rain chances toward the end of the forecast period [upcoming weekend] thanks to an approaching upper-level low” says NWS Nashville. Bad timing since it’s the weekend – but some cooler temps and rain would be nice. Details will become clearer as we get closer.
High temps remain 5-10° above average thru Saturday. Temps should slide back down towards average-ish by early next week.
