Only day with any legit rain chances within the next 7 days will be Saturday.

Some afternoon showers, maybe a thunderstorm, will be possible. Not worried about any severe weather.

Euro model gives a guess:

Maybe a quick shower Friday/Sunday afternoon but really think most of us will stay dry.

The main thing that I think most of us will be waiting for (I know I am) – will be our first preview of False Fall.

At the start of next week, a cold front will move thru bringing in cooler temps and comfortable dewpoints.

High temps in the low 80s, waking up with temps in the upper 50s/low 60s – wonderful.

While we certainly aren’t done with hot temperatures, but the 6 – 10 day range will likely be a good taste of Fall weather.

New Drought Monitor came out today, good portion of our counties are under the Abnormally Dry category, with a very small sliver of Davidson Co. under a Moderate Drought. The lack of rain over the next week or so probably won’t help our case.
